Permanent Makeup

Permanent Make-Up is the art of depositing small, and precisely placed, molecules of pigment directly into the basal layer of the skin. Permanent Make-Up is not intended as a substitute for topical make-up but as a base by providing permanent definition and color which can be further enhanced according to your own preference. All applications are customized with long lasting results!

  • Have poor eyesight or unsteady hands.
  • Have thin or sparse eyebrows.
  • Have traditional makeup allergies.
  • Have permanent hair loss.

Eyebrows

Professionally shaped brows can instantly give you a more youthful, "rested" appearance! Beautiful and expertly shaped brows, customized in conjunction with your bone structure, provide an uplifting and refreshed appearance to the entire eye area. Cosmetic dermatologists use Botox and other injectables to achieve similar, but temporary, results. Permanent Make-Up will enhance your expression naturally for years to come!

Brows too light or too sparse? Permanent Make-Up can allow you to have the brows you want eliminating the need for costly eyebrow enhancement kits and saving time in your daily routine!

Eyeliner

Permanent Make-Up does away with messy smudging and smearing of pencils and liquid liners .. not to mention the stress of trying to achieve perfect application. Subtle or dramatic - customized permanent eyeliner will accentuate your eye color and shape and beautify your eyes by providing depth, definition, color and the illusion of fuller lashes.

Lip liner

Misshapen, undefined, colorless, shrinking lips? Permanent Make-Up can address these concerns. With soft definition and either a natural color or a flattering color of your choice you lips will once again be the beautiful, full lips of your youth.

What Do I Need To Know About Permanent Makeup?

Question: Does It Hurt?
Topical anesthesia may be used to alleviate discomfort during the procedure.

Question: Is Permanent Makeup really permanent?
The permanence of your procedure depends on several factors including the technician applying it, the products used for the application, how deep the cosmetic tattoo is placed into the skin, how well you take care of the treated area while it is healing, and whether or not you use a total sun block after the treated area has completely healed. Color enhancers are also suggested "as needed" to keep the treated area looking fresh and new.

Question: Can I have Permanent Makeup if I am allergic to regular makeup?
The client who is allergic to traditional facial makeup is the perfect candidate for Permanent Makeup. The technician will patch test you in the area of desired procedure, wait 6-8 weeks and proceed as necessary.

Question: What will I look like immediately following my procedure?
Your treated area may be slightly swollen and irritated immediately following your procedure. This is called a "wheal and flare" reaction. The area may also be darker for a few days while it is healing because of the lymph and blood droplets that may have been brought to the surface during your application.

While your procedure is healing it must go through three phases before you will experience your final results. The treated area must first heal, then peel and finally fade to its normal color. Final results may take 4-8 weeks to completely heal.

Question: Is this procedure safe?
Permanent cosmetic procedures are safe if the technician has had a proper education and follows all of OSHA and CDC guidelines. Our technicians meet all of these requirements.

Single use, sterile needles and machine parts are used for each client and then properly disposed of.

Question: How do I care for my Permanent Makeup procedure?
After completion, you will receive a post-treatment care instruction sheet. The overall success of your procedure is contingent upon you following the instructions.

A follow-up visit will be scheduled for approximately 4-7 weeks after the initial application. This is to fine tune and touch-up and area of the skin that may have expelled the pigment.

Question: Can a person on medication undergo the Permanent Makeup procedure?
Clients who are on medication should obtain a release from their physician prior to any Permanent Makeup procedure. The release should be written on the physician's prescription notepad and sent to our office prior to the start of any procedure.

Question: Do I have to take any precautions prior to a lip procedure?
If you have ever had a cold sore or fever blister, you must take an antiviral medication before your procedure. Your physician may prescribe Valtrex, Famvir or Zovirax.

Herpetic outbreaks usually occur on the 3rd day post procedure, so taking antiviral medication will lessen your chance of an outbreak. If you do experience a herpetic outbreak, you may lose the implanted pigment color in the area of the outbreak.
